border_radii=&#8221;on|8px|8px|8px|8px&#8221; border_color_all=&#8221;#DBD7D4&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>The Challenge<\/h4>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Conceptually develop a brand linked to the business aspirations<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>20 years ago, the <a href=\"https:\/\/post-industrial.institute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Post-Industrial Institute<\/a> -PII- was founded in California by <a href=\"https:\/\/post-industrial.institute\/leadership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Frode Odegard<\/a> with the aim of reinventing Lean Management in modern knowledge-based organisations. The original name of the company was the Lean Software Institute, which was soon changed to the Lean Systems Institute.<\/p>\n<p>After 10 years, it began the development of a new approach to management science with solutions and practices suitable for a world in which the combination of exponential technologies (including artificial intelligence) and decentralization were challenging traditional ideas about organizations and careers.<\/p>\n<p>The name of the company was changed to the Post-Lean Institute in 2017, to reflect that many of the assumptions behind Lean Management were being challenged. Soon after we started, we discovered that it was necessary to delve deeper, discuss, and define issues that went beyond the brand and went deep into the very reason for the existence of the business, its legacy, and ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>The key was to provide answers to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to transform the institute and grow through its brand, culture, and experience?<\/li>\n<li>What is its institutional raison d&#8217;\u00eatre?<\/li>\n<li>Who are the stakeholders?<\/li>\n<li>Where should the competition take place?<\/li>\n<li>How will the match be won?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The process took the form of psychoanalysis sessions. In the end it was a deep consultancy work based on conversations at the highest level between the founders of the Post-Industrial Institute and Allegro 234:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Definitions<\/li>\n<li>Talks<\/li>\n<li>Discussions<\/li>\n<li>Questions<\/li>\n<li>Homework<\/li>\n<li>Thoughts and feelings\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>A large number of &#8220;whys&#8221;, \u201cwhy this?\u201d And \u201cwhy that?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243; border_color_all=&#8221;#DBD7D4&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>The Results<\/h4>\n<blockquote>\n<p>A brand which supports the next <a href=\"https:\/\/post-industrial.institute\/forum\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Post-Industrial Forum<\/a> in the short term and is poised to create lasting value for the whole institution over time.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>We created the \u201cIIP Strategic Platform\u201d, a living document that drove the discussion throughout the conceptualisation of issues such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business defined by the products and services offered, key audiences, differentiating technology and know-how, and the big idea behind PII<\/li>\n<li>Purpose as a daily concept, mission as today&#8217;s definition and vision as tomorrow&#8217;s ambition<\/li>\n<li>Business values transformed into key brand attributes<\/li>\n<li>Competitive arena definition<\/li>\n<li>Positioning statement considering functional benefits, reasons to believe, results for key audiences, emotional benefit as the feeling of key audiences when living the IIP experience<\/li>\n<li>Brand personality<\/li>\n<li>Buying persona, brand voice, and key brand message<\/li>\n<li>Formal characteristics of PII tones and manners, and narrative pillars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243;
